Dukenvironment Gets the Gold
Dukenvironment
magazine has won a gold award in the 2003 University &
College Designers Association (UCDA) 33rd Annual Design competition.
The judges evaluated nearly 1,500 print entries, awarding
201 awards: five gold, eight silver, and 188 awards of excellence.
Dukenvironment was in the magazine cover design category for
the spring 2002 (dolphin cover) and 2003 (jaguar cover), and
the fall 2002 (children’s environmental health cover)
issues. Designer Amy Chapman Braun of the Duke University
Health System’s Creative Services, and editor and writer,
Scottee Cantrell of the Nicholas School, were cited.
Award winners were displayed at the UCDA annual conference
in Boston, Mass., in October. The UCDA promotes excellence
in visual communications for institutions of higher education.
