Nicholas School Web Site Wins District Awards

The Nicholas School Web site (www.nicholas.duke.edu), launched in March 2004, has won two awards in the CASE District III Awards Program.

The site received a Grand Award, the highest given, in the Overall Web site Design & Implementation program category, and an Award of Excellence in Homepage Design & Implementation. Cited were: Scottee Cantrell, assistant dean for marketing and communications, Amy Chapman Braun, designer, Stephanie Thirolle, Web master, and Lacey Chylack, designer. Braun, who is now with the Nicholas School, and Chylack both worked with Duke Health System’s Office of Creative Services at the time the site was created.

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education is the international association of professionals who advance educational institutions.District III represents some 4,500 professionals in the nine states of the Southeast.
