Today we began the packing process. With a great deal of teamwork, we were able to
put the camera tow into the van, along with about 50 buckets full of rocks to be sent back to WHOI (see photo). After that, we got to work
on taking down the rock saw. During the extensive cleaning process involved with this, several of the science crew had very soggy water
fight, followed by a dip in the hot tub. While some of the scientists were mucking around outside, others were responsibly working on compiling
data from the cruise (see photo). After a long, hard day’s work, everyone relaxed and watched movies in the library, watched the phosphorescence
outside, and/or played cards in the mess (see photo).
