R/V Melville
Today we finished packing up the lab with the exception of the computers and a few
other last-minute items (see photo). This evening the scientists had a meeting with the crew to brief them on what we have accomplished
on this cruise. The scientists were very optimistic about all of the data gathered, especially the discovery of a new escarpment that appears
to be a portion of a propagating rift. Other than that, the science crew has had a lot of time to pass reading, watching movies, and lounging
