A Sustainable Holiday

by brandon last modified 2008-01-02 08:11

How eco-friendly is your gift?

After sawing down a Christmas tree a few weeks ago at a North Carolina tree farm, I wondered if I should have been working the aisles or the internet for an artificial tree.  What about tree lights? holiday food?  The questions kept coming.

Last weekend I chopped some wood for a cozy night around the fireplace and before I knew it, when the fire was roaring, the house seemed colder.  All of these questions convinced me to start researching.  I came across this Eco-Friendly Holiday Guide that answers most of the common questions, and more.  If you have any other tips, please send them along.
