David's Bio
David Palange hails from the Bay Area, California. He studied Biology as an undergraduate at University of California, San Diego and since then has let his interest in the environment take him far and wide. He has taught ecology in Maine, Mexico and Washington DC and coordinated a sea turtle nesting nesting project in Costa Rica. He also has worked on marine campaigns for Oceana and Turtle Island Restoration Network. David is a first-year MEM student with a concentration in Ecosystem Science and Conservation. His current interest is investigating the impacts of development on urban ecosystems. Currently, he works in Dr. Bernhardt's lab, where he is assisting in research related to stream ecology and restoration.
