Day 6.  Monday 21st - Monk Seals (Dave)

Recap of status and conservation issues

Comparisons with Mediterranean monk seals

Discussion about captive care, predator removals and other adaptive management/conservation techniques

Field examination of monk seals, focus on census techniques and other research.

Mid-trip time for reflection and writing.

Day 7. Tuesday 22nd - Seabirds on Midway (Andy)

Boat trip to one location to snorkel

Discussion and qualitative assessment amongst locations (MHI, Midway Unhealthy, Midway Healthy)
