Mike's Bio
Mike is a second year Conservation Science
and Policy MEM in the Nicholas School of the Environment and Earth
Sciences. His current
interests include agricultural tourism and sustainable agriculture
and policy, satellite remote sensing and really anything "GISy". He's also really into Japan. Originally
from Philadelphia, PA, Mike received a BS in Languages and Linguistics
from Georgetown University in 2003 before moving to Japan to work.
In 2005, Mike moved to San Francisco, CA where he worked as a brewer
at the 21st Amendment brewpub up until his arrival in Durham, NC. Mike hopes
one day to be able to cleverly combine his interests in beer and sustainable
agriculture.
