All Duke University faculty, with the exception of members of the CCBVP’s Internal Advisory Committee, are eligible to apply for funding. Working groups may include students at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Funding in the amount of $10,000 is available to fund one-year working groups in the $250-2000 range. The budget for a working group is relatively open-ended and may include supplies, support for student research assistants, travel to scientific meetings as it relates to the objectives of the working group, catering for group meetings, and other justifiable research expenses. Faculty salary and indirect costs are not allowable expenses.
