CEHI Hosts Local Health Department Training -- August 10, 2009

CEHI recently hosted a free, introduction to GIS training at Duke University. The participants included a wide representation of North Carolina health departments -- from state, county, and local health departments to a variety of community groups. The main focus throughout the training was creating thematic maps. All participants were introduced to mapping software and map design elements.
