Capacity Building Training Wraps-Up -- March 16, 2009

CEHI, CDC, and members from the Colorado and Michigan State Health Departments wrapped-up the Capacity Building training project last week. The project spanned three years, implementing GIS technology to address heart disease and stroke. The groups from each state health department created a number of products including maps, graphs, and other forms of visual data. Members from CEHI and CDC hope to reunite with state health department participants at the upcoming 2009 APHA conference to display some of their work and discuss their experiences.
