Memberships, Appointments and Awards for Nicholas School faculty


Professor of Resource and Environmental Economics Randall A. Kramer has been appointed to lead Duke Global Health Institute’s (DGHI) research initiative on global environmental health. Kramer will lead DGHI's interdisciplinary faculty working group to address key issues of global environmental health. Among the top issues are: 1) indoor air quality in developing nations due to heating and cooking; 2) water quality and sanitation, including access to clean drinking water; and 3) effects of climate change on human health. Kramer was voted a DGHI Member at the May meeting of the faculty body.
