2008 Duke Earth Day Festival – Schedule of Events

Tuesday, April 22 – 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Bryan Center Plaza

11:00 am	2008 Duke Earth Day Festival on the Bryan Center Plaza begins Informational tables from student, Businesses and organizations from campus and the community who have expertise in environmental issues will be on the Bryan Center Plaza to educate and inform. Join us to learn how you can reduce your environmental footprint.
11:00 am - 3:00 pm	Garbology on the Plaza This Garbology will take place on the Bryan Center Plaza during the Earth Day festival and will also be open to the public. The trash to be sorted will be the material collected from the Plaza itself.

3:00 pm	2008 Duke Earth Day Festival Ends
6:00pm - 9:00pm	Earth Day Key Note Speaker - Wallace J. Nichols and Eco-Reception Wallace "J." Nichols, a Nicholas School graduate and sea turtle expert, works with universities and organizations to advance ocean protection and spearheads the Ocean Revolution, a program that inspires, involves and mentors the next generation of ocean conservationist. Location: Bryan Center, Von Canon C
