Research Interests:
Through my academic as well as my research experiences I have come to be fascinated with Paleoclimatology. During my undergraduate career I focused on organic chemistry, the carbon cycle, biogeochemistry, organic matter burial and degradation.

For my PhD I will be studying tropical paleoclimatology. More specifically I will be using stable isotopes and organic chemistry to determine the climate history of the Amazon Basin.
