360 Degree Tours of the Duke Forest: Rhododendron Bluffs

View from the Rhododendron Bluffs above New Hope Creek. The cool microclimate of the Bluffs provides an ideal environment for the mountain rosebay rhododendron. This is one of the easternmost occurrences of this flowering shrub in North Carolina.
