Nemo's Bio

Gergely Nemeth (or "Nemo," as we call him) is a first year MEM in the Environmental Economics and Policy track with a focus on Business and the Environment. Originally from Balatonfured, Hungary, Nemo has been in the U.S. since 2004. Starting as a high school exchange student in Massachusetts, he decided to further his education in Rhode Island where he got his undergraduate degree in Business Administration. During his undergraduate years he interned for a a Fortune 100 company in their market development division and for his father's small agricultural machine manufacturing company in Hungary.

His interests lie in corporate sustainability and green-marketing. Nemo's big realization about his passion towards a career in environmental management came when he and his team put together an award winning sustainability project for a large retail company.

In his free time he enjoys playing soccer, crossfitting, and skydiving as much as possible (400 jumps and counting).
