Deborah ChayDeborah Chay
Deborah Chay joined the Nicholas Institute in April, 2008. As the inaugural Director of Development, Chay is responsible for the strategic planning and specific partnerships necessary to sustain the Institute's mission and priority programs/.  /A Duke alumna (PhD '92), Chay returned to Duke after a successful academic career at Dartmouth College and the Johns Hopkins University followed by nearly a decade of achievement in leadership positions in development at institutions ranging from Occidental College to Yale University; most recently, she was director of development for the American University of Beirut.  Deborah Chay is a volunteer account director with Taproot Foundation and has played a leadership role in the New York chapter of Slow Food, International.
