Jan Mazurek
Jan Mazurek has worked on environmental policy in Washington DC since 1994. She most recently served as an EPA reviewer for the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition Team. Prior to her transition service, Mazurek directed the Energy & Environment Project at the Progressive Policy Institute. There she provided analysis to inform Senate multi-pollutant and economy-wide proposals to combat climate change. Mazurek is the author of "Making Microchips: Policy, Globalization, and Restructuring in the U.S." (MIT 2003). She is the co-author with Terry Davies of "Pollution Control: Does the U.S. System Work?" (Johns Hopkins 1998). Mazurek holds a doctorate in Public Affairs from UCLA.
