Sall
For more than 20 years, Ginger Sall has been a member of
La Leche League International, volunteering in her community
to help mothers breastfeed their
babies, serving as chairman from 2000 to 2001, and current representing
La Leche League at the United Nations. She is co-founder
and trustee of Cary
Academy, an innovative middle and high school in North Carolina. Ginger
serves on the World Wildlife Fund US Board of Directors
and the CARE USA Board of Directors. As co-founder and
director of the Sall Family Foundation, Ginger works towards
healthy people and a healthy planet through programs for global
health as well as conservation and the environment. She
holds a B.A. in physics from Rice University and studied biostatistics
at the University
of North Carolina School of Public Health.
