Nicholas Institute Staff

Josh SchneckJosh Schneck
Joshua Schneck joined the Nicholas Institute as an Associate in Policy and Research in June 2009, where he supports the Institute's collaboration with the National Religious Partnership for the Environment. Prior to joining the Institute, Joshua served as a legislative intern for San Francisco Supervisor Chris Daly, supporting smart-growth initiatives and a resolution hybridizing the City's automotive fleet. His masters research, conducted in partnership with the World Resources Institute and the Center for International Forest Research, focused on private and state efforts to create sustainable supplies of timber for Indonesia's pulp and paper industry. Joshua holds a Master of Environmental Management degree and Certificate in International Development Policy from Duke University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Oberlin College.
