Catherine Whittaker

Catherine Whittaker will be beginning her first year as a Duke Undergraduate in the Fall of 2003. She plans to focus on marine biology during her undergraduate career and looks forward to spending time on the Durham Campus, at the Marine Lab in Beaufort, and back in Madagascar. In addition to her scientific and conservation interests, Catherine’s family history with the US diplomatic corps has afforded her unique opportunities to live and study throughout the world for most of her life. This broad-based level of multicultural experience, as well as the incredible language and management skills that go with it, make Catherine a welcome and capable addition to the fossa team.
