AV equipment in classrooms

• Peter Lange at ITAC – part of strategic plan is for classroom renovations on West (but LSRC not included).
• Cart & projector for 247 if we can find a way to secure it.  Ideas?
• Upgrade in A155 – projector to be installed this summer
•  Old Chem 101 – no funds now- near top of list 08/09
• Replace keyboard on cart 2 – USB
• PC on projector cart in EOS – too slow
• Advertise that Proj 1-5 are available from KD

IT Staff changes

• Deann -->Ben-->Pat Halpin
• Need to fill Deann’s spot – System administrator

Policy writing

• Computer Replacement Policy for Faculty and Staff – complete
• Acceptable Use, Security, and Backup Policies to write

Teaching & Learning Center

25,000 sq ft. in lower level Perkins

• Emphasis for using as test space for new technology before using it more broadly
• If approved at June board meeting, go live fall 2008
• 7 classrooms, seminar rooms, open space, help desk, support staff space

Course evaluations

• Dave Hinton – will bring before Faculty Council for discussion/input. “Models explaining how it is used would be helpful to me and I am sure to others as well.”
