Nicknet is a Windows-only convention, so, to locate your home
directory on the server, login from a Windows machine in one of the
Nicholas School labs or offices.
Right-click on your Z: drive in the My Computer window. Choose
Properties and select the Dfs tab to see what server your directory is
on - \\{server name}.nicholas.duke.edu.
Detailed instructions here.
After installing and connecting to Duke with the VPN client, go to
Connect to Server (either Cmd-K or from the Go menu). In the window
that opens, enter Nicholas as the domain and use your Nicholas login
and password. Connect to cifs://{server name}.nicholas.duke.edu/home/{your Nicholas login}
