Students from the Duke Marine Lab, along with Dr. Cindy Van Dover, travel to the coast of Brittany in France for an intensive field experience, including French maritime cultural heritage, regional and national coastal reserves (Le Parc naturel régional d’Armorique; Presqu'île de Crozon), shellfish aquaculture (La Trinite sur Mer), seaweed harvest (Lanneros Pleubian), and tidal energy (La Rance).
