Alain Manajary ANDRIAMAZAVA

My name is ANDRIAMAZAVA Alain Manajary. I was born in September 26th 1975 in Mahajanga. I am married and I have two children’s. I am a Malagasy student at the Animal Biology Department, University of Antananarivo. I am preparing my DEA (Masters degree) on Environmental Ecology.

I have experiences on herpetology (Reptiles and Amphibians). I worked with Qit Madagascar Minerals in Fort Dauphin (South East of Madagascar) in 2002 doing the inventory of different forest types of the Anosy Region (rainforest, littoral forest, dry and spiny forest). In February and March 2004, I worked with Birdlife International Madagascar Programme/ASITY on the herpetofauna inventory of Mikea forest (Morombe region) and the lake of Ihotry. From June 2004, I have been working with the Fossa team because I would like to contribute more in the conservation and preservation of biodiversity.
