My
name is Anna White. I am a married 35 year old Irish national
originally from Bannow Bay, Co Wexford, Republic Of Ireland
(of 1166 Landing Of The Normans fame), who has lived in
London for the past fourteen years, where I work as an Oracle
Financials Analyst Programmer in London. Having enjoyed
travelling with my husband, Dave Kiely, to various developing
countries in recent years and gained many fantastic memories
of places from Santiago de Cuba to Beijing to Timbuktu,
I decided that it was time not only to give something back
to the amazing earth upon which we live, but to address
my life long desire to work with animals and perhaps to
conquer my phobia of snakes along the way. The Earthwatch
project in Madagascar proved to be the perfect choice as
it also enabled me to experience some of the country's distinctive
wildlife and landscapes at first hand, and hopefully help
to ensure the fossa's survival.
