I live in Canterbury, New Hampshire. I work as an assistant
analyst for website designs at Anthem BCBS of New Hampshire.
I grew up in the country and my home was surrounded by woods.
As a child I could always be found wondering in the woods.
As I grew older the desire to be in the woods never left.
Unfortunately, the trees slowly disappeared to make room
for more houses. I could not sit by and observe "progress"
so I began volunteering for the Society for the Protection
of NH Forests and chaired the Canterbury Recycling Committee.
Over the years I have read many books about Africa, decided
to combine my love for nature with my interests in Africa.
A friend told me about Earthwatch a few years ago. I chose
to volunteer this year and to study the Carnivores of Madagascar.
My passion for ecology and conservation, and my interest
in AFrica makes this trip one of the best vacations I have
taken.
