Rahajanirina Léon Pierrot

PierrotMy name is Rahajanirina Léon Pierrot. I was born at Andina-Ambositra in 1973. I am the Malagasy Coordinator of the Fossateam field operation.

I finished my study (DEA) at the Animal Biology Departement, University of Antananarivo, Madagascar in 2003. It was particularly about the diet and the activity patterns of the Fossa in its natural habitat.

I have been working for this project since 1998, the time I started the preparation of my DEA. I really enjoy working on the research, the conservation, and the development leading to the good management of the environment like this project does.

I look forward to have more training on the environmental management at the national and epecially international level and to carry on my study to the PhD on the carnivores of Madagascar.
