New Welcome Center

In the last year, the new park welcome center was finished, featuring a video theater, multiple displays, a collective research data computer, and local artwork. This is also now where tourists coming to Ankarafantsika meet with their tour guides, arrange to stay in bungalows, and buy some souvenirs. There’s also a great terrace upstairs, with an open air balcony and nice view of the forests immediately surrounding the station. Progress in action! Congratulations to the National Park Service (ANGAP) for completing such a great facility!
