First checkpoint

We arrived in Tana at 0200 today. Our first 450 km are done, the hardest is yet to come. We’ve got meetings around town today and errands to run, nitrogen tanks to fill, etc. Tonight, we have a special dinner with friends from the American and Swiss Embassies. Tomorrow morning, we’re headed out at 0400!
