Toulouse to Madagascar
by Frederic Pastor
July 9, 2005

Today is a good day! Surely normal and common for the staff members, that’s different for volunteers like me getting out from their sweet office few days before. A moment I won’t forget: ‘general distribution’ of bait first morning to everybody – except Amy who prefers eating instead of carrying it – organized by luke.

We were wondering with a desperate feeling how to get out of this bait carrying situation… only for Ewen, relaxed, who was ‘from a farm or something like that’ according to Sam’s sources.

So, today is a good day, a bit more ‘experienced’ in trap checking, capable to describe by heart the right path and a good visibility about what we will have to do to bring something – even a small thing - to such an exiting project.

By the way, I’m Frederic, 33 years old, from Toulouse, France and ready to wake up every morning on time at 5.30 am!
