I
was born in November 11 in 1984 in Mexico city. When I was
5 years old, my family moved to a town called Coatepec in
the state of Veracruz were we are still living. My both parents
are biologists and we have always kept animals and have gone
to the field, that’s why I have been interested and fascinated
by wildlife, especially by reptiles and amphibians, since
an early age. My other great passion has been art and since
I remember I have been drawing as a hobby, not as good as
I would like to, though. I am currently studying biology at
the Universidad Veracruzana and I have made several field
trips around Mexico were I have helped my parents and other
researchers in their field work. My interest in visiting Madagascar
arised by the fact that the island has some of the strangest
animals and plants in the world and that most of them are
endemic so ever since I knew about this place I have been
looking forward to visit it.
