Alex Glass Nicholas Talk Graphic

Feb. 13, 2009 - "Denying Evolution: Why 150 Years of Darwin is Not Enough"

Dr. Alex Glass is an instructor of invertebrate paleontology and science education in the Nicholas School of the Environment, Earth and Ocean Sciences division. He has a strong interest in the relationship between science and religion and much of his outreach centers on educating the public on issues surrounding the creation-evolution debate. His lecture commemorates the 150th anniversary of the publication of On the Origin of Species and the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth.
