Nov. 30 - "Ecosystem Science, Environmental Change and Society: a Personal View"

A seminar by Dr. Gene E. Likens, Distinguished Senior Scientist, Institute of Ecosystem Studies. 

Likens is an elected member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Philosophical Society.  In 2002, he was awarded the National Medal of Science, the nations highest science honor.  Dr. Likens research focuses on the ecology and biogeochemistry of forest and aquatic ecosystems, primarily through long-term studies at the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest, in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
