August 2002 saw the publication of a report on our sparrow research to date. It is, or will be, available in two forms. The first is a high-quality, full-color printed and bound document. To receive one of the these, please contact:

The second form is as a PDF file, viewable in Adobe Acrobat (or the free Acrobat Reader). Ultimately, the PDF file will be available on a CD-ROM, also available from Sonny Bass. We anticipate these being ready around November 15th. The PDF is also available here as a download. There are two versions, small and large, which differ in the resolution of the images therein. The small version is 6 MB, and has images downsampled to 150 dpi. The large version is 22.3 MB, and has images downsampled to 600dpi. Compared to the printed version, you will notice a small loss of detail in the images in the 'large' version, and a considerable loss in the 'small' version. If you would like a full-quality copy of the report, we recommend obtaining the printed version, or waiting for the CD-ROM, which will contain a PDF file at full-resolution.

Please remember to come back after November 15th. to get the new version.So far, we have discovered one erratum.

Section 6.5.8, Paragraph 3, Page 108: The correct year for the Armentano et al. citation is 1995. It is correct in the citation list (page 169).
