Statistics Sequences at Duke, UNC and NCSU

The sequences of statistics courses at Duke, UNC and NCSU are different, and it can be confusing to make your way between statistics courses at different schools, or even in different departments of the same school. Here is a rough guide to these sequences to help you make sure you have the right prerequisite material for the courses you select and to help you avoid taking courses with too much overlap in content. As always, please send me your comments to help me improve advising for other students in the future.

As always, check course schedules on the web to see which courses are being offered when. Also, check with your program before choosing a particular course because programs differ in what courses count toward which quantitative requirements.
