273S. Current Topics in Environmental Biology. NS, STS The biology and societal implications of technological and environmental problems. Impact on human and animal biology of chemical pollution, including food additives, manufacturing and food production by-products. Evaluation of observations and claims in the popular press, and research in primary scientific literature. Prerequisite: Introductory Biology. Instructor Rittschof. C-L Marine Sciences.
