301.05 Fundamentals of Management Conducted as a business seminar, this course covers the fundamentals of management in business. The course provides practical employee/managerial skills that will help students be prepared to operate successfully in a business, NGO or agency environment. Management, sometimes an “illusionary” concept, will be explored with the objective of providing participants with an understanding and working skill-set in the principles of management; business, project and personal planning; understanding of communication and behavioral styles; time management and personal organization; small group processes; working with a team; and to establish personal goals and mission.
