Grok Image: Getting in Touch With Your Roots

Like many other Americans I was sitting at a table last week eating horseradish to remind me of the bitterness of slavery. My horseradish came out of a jar. But I began to wonder, what does the stuff actually look like?

Here’s the thing. Horseradish, of course, is a root vegetable, and sometimes we get so accustomed to our jars of condiments in the fridge we forget what the actual vegetables look like. So, being an academic, I’ve come up with a quick and easy quiz, possibly the easiest of your adult life.
