The concurrent MEM/MCRP program is a joint planning and environmental management program, in partnership with the University of North Carolina, for those seeking solutions to environmental problems within an urban context. Graduate students enrolling in this program may specialize in land use and environmental planning, economic development, housing and community development, or transportation planning within UNC’s Master of City and Regional Planning (MCRP) program, areas that complement the Nicholas School Master of Environmental Management (MEM) program concentrations.

The MEM/MCRP degree program will be enrolling incoming students for the 2021-2022 school year. Questions about this program can be directed to Tim Johnson, associate dean of professional programs.
