As the APM of Sustainability for The Walsh Group, Debbie is responsible for providing clients with strategic guidance on sustainable design, construction, and operations to achieve their Sustainability Goals.  She is also responsible developing and integrating ideas, methods, analyses, and tools to support and enable Walsh project teams to drive value-adding sustainability solutions in projects.

Prior to joining The Walsh Group, Debbie was Director of Key Accounts for SoCore Energy LLC, a solar development company focused on serving multisite commercial and industrial clients. Debbie managed the team dedicated to cultivating client relationships through the development of proposals, business plans, and contracts that meet the unique needs of the client.  

Before that, she was the Sustainability Specialist at Abercrombie & Fitch where she directed the environmental sustainability and energy management efforts across the retailer’s portfolio of stores and office buildings.  Her efforts resulted in identifying over $1MM in energy savings through the implementation of energy efficiency projects like LED retrofits and updated HVAC controls.  She also managed the company’s greenhouse gas inventory and Carbon Disclosure Project public reporting.  

Debbie holds an MBA and Masters’ of Environmental Management (MEM) degree from Duke University.  She also received a B.S.E in Civil Engineering and a Certificate in Architectural Engineering from Duke University.
