Tommy Caggiano is a Special Advisor for Implementation at the US Environmental Protection Agency. In this role, he supports climate change programs established under the Inflation Reduction Act. Prior to joining EPA in 2024, Tommy led the Nature Conservancy's climate policy work in North Carolina. EPA is the fourth federal agency at which Tommy has had the privilege of working. His previous professional experience also includes the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and multiple nonprofit organizations. He holds Master of Environmental Management and Master of Forestry degrees from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment, and a BS in biology from Ursinus College. Tommy lives in Durham, NC.
